Thumbs up Answer: How do I move text down or up "slightly' to fit on a line?

Hi there! I'd be happy to help you with that. Here's how you can move text up or down slightly to fit on a line in Microsoft Word:
  1. First, select the text you want to move by clicking and dragging your cursor over it.
  2. Next, click on the "Home" tab in the ribbon at the top of the screen.
  3. Look for the "Paragraph" section of the ribbon, and find the "Line Spacing" button. Click on the small arrow next to it to open the Line Spacing menu.
  4. In the Line Spacing menu, select "Line Spacing Options" at the bottom.
  5. In the Line Spacing tab of the Paragraph dialog box, you'll see a section called "Spacing." Under "Before" and "After," you can adjust the amount of space between paragraphs. To move your text up or down slightly, you'll want to adjust the "Before" or "After" spacing.
  6. To move the text up, decrease the "Before" spacing. To move it down, increase the "After" spacing. You can adjust the spacing in small increments by typing in a number in the "At" box, or you can use the up and down arrows to adjust it.
  7. Once you've made your adjustments, click "OK" to close the Paragraph dialog box.
  8. Check to see if your text is now positioned where you want it. If it's still not quite right, you can go back and make further adjustments to the spacing until it's just right.

I hope that helps!
