There shouldn't be. HTML documents don't have page numbers unless it appears
in the page title. If you can state the purpose of page numbers, we might be able to help. ******************* ~Anne Troy www.OfficeArticles.com www.MyExpertsOnline.com "Greg Matthews" wrote in message ... Hi,
Thanks for the reply. It was for viewing and information purposes only that I wanted to have page numbers shown. Is there any way these can be manually inserted into a word document with Web Layout selected? Greg. "Anne Troy" wrote in message news:7aa75$42c84841$97c5108d$8848@allthenewsgroups .com... Web pages use bookmarks. You might want to consider them instead? I see no
point in page numbering except to take someone to that page, so you should probably just be creating bookmarks. ******************* ~Anne Troy www.OfficeArticles.com www.MyExpertsOnline.com "Greg Matthews" wrote in message ... Sorry... I need to finish that statement: You should probably be creating
bookmarks, and then hyperlinking to them. ******************* ~Anne Troy www.OfficeArticles.com www.MyExpertsOnline.com "Greg Matthews" wrote in message ... Hi, Thanks for the reply. Hi Greg,
When you say you're wanting this for viewing and information purposes are you doing a web version of a book perhaps? You can use a Frames set (Insert=Frame) and use one frame to navigate to another or you can separate a document into individual files for each page and link to the various pages. http://support.microsoft.com/default...us;306348&FR=1 ======= "Greg Matthews" wrote in message ...
