Default edit my pasted excel graph in word

I have pasted several charts from microsoft excel into Word (under regular
copy-paste option). Now, I wanted to edit it, but I can't. Double-click the
chart, and it doesn't go to the excel sheet. Is there any other options
besides "paste special" option?

Are you pasting special as an Excel object? See if this helps you:
