Field Updates Extremely Slow / Stuck (Word 2007)
Documents (Word 2003 format) containing many links (e.g., 55) to an Excel
(2003) workbook take more than 15 minutes (at which point I kill Word on Task Manager) to update its fields in Word 2007. The same document on Word 2003 takes 15 seconds at most. Is this a known problem? Is there a configuration setting I can change in Word? |
