Assuming you are talking about a border, select the cells from which you
wish to remove the border. Go to Format | Borders and Shading and click (to turn off) the border you wish to remove. You can also do this using the Borders palette on the Formatting toolbar or on the Tables and Borders toolbar. -- Suzanne S.
