Why won't Word autorecover a file with a more recent ~$name.tmp fi
I lost power on my computer several hours after saving a word document. There
is a ~$filename.tmp file along with the last saved version in the directory, but word does not ask to autorecover when opening. I also tried the "open and repair" option, but it does not get the latest version that way either. The time on my temp file is just before I lost power so I know it is more recent. How can I make Word recover the file???? Thanks, Zak |

Nevermind....I actually was not aware of this forum until I made the post.
After I searched the forum, I found the answer to my question. "zenyaker" wrote: I lost power on my computer several hours after saving a word document.
