Default Envelope address line spacing

I am using Office XP. When I try to copy an address into the envelop
template it is always double spaced and I am unable to change it to single
space. Any ideas? This happens on both my desktop and laptop. Thanks!

Is the text you're copying double-spaced?

Check the formatting of the Envelope Address style, but you should be able
to format the text by selecting it in the Envelope dialog, right-clicking,
and choosing Paragraph.

Is the address you are copying manually double spaced? The envelope wizard
will pick up any manual formatting. If not, see
