Default Compatability Mode???

I opened up a Word document that I aways open but for some reason now there
are no editing buttons available like cut & paste etc.

At the top of the page, where the document name is listed, it says
"Compatability Mode".

Is this the reason I have no editing functions? How do I get my normal
editing functions back?

Sounds like your trial version expired. Time to pay the piper.
