Default How do I format pages differently in the same document?

I want to copy all of my poems on separate pages in the same documents(page
1,2,3,4, etc)...like a book, but the index page has three columns and when I
use the 3 columns, it affects all the other pages. Is there any way I can do
this using the 3 columns with out the format affecting all the other pages?

Use Section breaks between the sections. Then you can format each section
independently.
