How do I prevent a page break before a heading style?
For no apparent reason, my document chooses to go to the next page when I
apply a heading style to a line, leaving too much white space on the previous page. If I change the style to a non-heading style, it returns to the previous page. Thanks in advance! |

Click in your heading style, activate the format and styles task pane. Click on the arrow next to your heading style, choose change, click on the format button down below, choose paragraph, choose second tab uncheck the page break before checkbox and OK out.
