Automatic Underline ?Office XP
I had posted for a help a few days ago - and I do not see it. So I am trying
again. Whenever I opened a new word document the texts are underlined. It is happening w/ my email or any other documents. I checked every thing that I know off to see how the syle defaults to underline text. It started about two weeks ago. I dowloaded a text from the web for my work and that somehow changed the style to "underline" as default. What I need to do to get back to normal setting? |

Automatic Underline ?Office XP
I found the Normal.dot file and changed the normal setting minus underline.
It seems it is working. I have tried to that in a different way and did not work. This is a Template. When I made the change and close - it did not ask whether I like to save the file. Hope this will work. Thanks. Graham was telling you not to try to fix the change in the normal.dot
template, but to let Word make a new normal.dot. You rename (you don't delete) the old one so that you don't lose all the special changes you have made in it. It should suffice, however, to choose Format | Font, clear the Underline
