Keyboard Shortcut for Entering the Date
I like to use the keyboard shortcut of alt-shift-d to enter the date.
However, this enters the date as a field which causes the date to be updated automatically; I wish to be able to enter with keyboard shortcut a date that does not update automatically. Is there such a shortcut key combination? Thanks. |

Keyboard Shortcut for Entering the Date
Insert a CreateDate field, save it as an AutoText entry, and assign
Alt+Shift+D to that AutoText entry. For more, see http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/TblsFldsFms/DateFields.htm -- Suzanne S.
