editing database during mail merge
When I try and edit my recipient list (which is an access database) during a
mail merge the edit is grayed out, how can I edit the database while I'm doing a mail merge document? I'm in word 2003 |

editing database during mail merge
Word 2003 will only let you edit data in the Edit Recipients box if the
Access database has a specific structure called an "Office Address List" (OAL). To edit any other Access database, your best bet is to open the database in Access and edit it directly there. Since it's designed to be a multi-user database you should be OK, but you may need to Refresh the recipients data when your edits are done. -- Peter Jamieson http://tips.pjmsn.me.uk "suz02" wrote in message news When I try and edit my recipient list (which is an access database) during a mail merge the edit is grayed out, how can I edit the database while I'm doing a mail merge document?
