Default How type "x-bar" (x with line over) it - maths?

Should be simple - but EQ{x\-} doesn't work for me !

G'Day MathsIdiot,

EQ{x\-} should be EQ{x\¯}

You can insert the overbar by:
ALT (hold down)
0175 (type on the Numeric Keypad)
release ALT.
