FORM FIELDS
I have created a document in Microsoft word with form fields to standardise
documents. How do i copy the information selected from a drop-down menu field to another part of a document, so that users do not have to enter the information again. |

FORM FIELDS
Use a ref field to call the bookmark name of the form field and flag the
formfield property 'calculate on exit'. This will not work in a document header unless you force an update by running a macro on exit (http://www.gmayor.com/installing_macro.htm ) from that form field, so unless you want to include macros with the document (probably not a good idea) you would need a styleref field instead as that will update itself. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org DinaChad wrote: I have created a document in Microsoft word with form fields to standardise documents.
