Searching folders for specific hyperlinks embedded in Documents
I am hoping to be able to search folders of word documents which are full of
hyperlinks in order to find which documents need links updated when I change the names or locations of their targets. When I do a windows explorer search for files with those links, nothing comes up. Only the displayed text in the link seems searchable, but in most cases that does not even bear the actual name, let alone directory location for the target. I can, of course, go into each document individually and hit ALT-F9, and then search, but that is intolerably tedious over hundreds of files. Is there any desktop search method that I can use? Thanks, Craig |
