Why do I receive error message that "Macros are disabled"
Everytime I open a new Word document I get a Visual Basic error mesage: "The
macros in this project are disabled." Why? I don't use macros. I'm using Windows XP OS and MS Word 2000. |

This message is caused by the macro security being set to high. Set the
macro security to medium (which will flag up documents with macros) and set Word to trust all installed templates and add-ins and the message should go away until you really need to know about the presence of macros in documents, whereupon you have the choice whether to allow them or not. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org calmil wrote: Everytime I open a new Word document I get a Visual Basic error mesage: "The macros in this project are disabled."
