Default How to prevent text from moving to next page as I type and press e

I have created a 4 page proposal contract for my employer. As I write and
press enter the lower portion of the document gets pushed onto the next page.
Vise versa, when I delete the print from the other page gets pulled up.
Help!!! Please, I'm going mad !!

Thanks Jorge

This is how Word is supposed to work. You should not be using the Enter key
to space document paragraphs.

You can use a heading to start each new page and format that heading style
to have a page break before.

Check the formatting of the paragraph style - uncheck the Widows and Orphans
check box and/or the keep with next parameter.

Hi and thanks for the reply. I had to use the enter bar because each line is
used to identify a different material to be sold. I have discovered that
using the arrow key(s) serves the purpose.

Thanks again... Jorge
