i keep getting gaps when i press enter once and was wondering how to get rid
of them

Hi Jarrod,

By gaps you means spacing between lines, if yes then check your paragraph
setting
space before and after, set it to auto or 0, as per your need.

Do not use the First Style (in the Style box), use the one next to it which
says "No spacing" underneath. The Default (the leftmost has a style which
has space below)
