Default acrobat comments toolbars fill half the screen in word 2003

I've loaded Word 2003 and Adobe Acrobat 6.0 on my pc--I'm not sure which I
loaded first. This wasn't the case when I had just Word 2000 and Adobe
Acrobat 4.0. When I open Word 2003, half of the screen (11 rows and 7
columns)is filled "toolbars" of blue buttons saying "acrobat comments"
leaving me half a screen in which to type my document! Help! What can I do
to get rid of so many rows of "acrobat comments"--I've already uninstalled
and re-installed both softwares.

Close Word. Temporarily move the Adobe add-in from the Office start-up
folder, rename normal.dot to oldnormal.dot. Restart Word. Verify that the
entries are gone, then replace the add-in. See
http://www.gmayor.com/lose_that_adob...at_toolbar.htm to bring the
add-in back under control.
