Is there a way to have a ToF just display:
Figure #.....[page number]

without having to insert a carrage return in the caption?

Select Figure # and create a paragraph style based on the underlying style.
Apply that style to Figure #. From the Table of Figures dialog options,
base the TOF on the style you have created.
