Track Changes
I have a user that when a comment is inserted into a word doc, he then saves
the document. When it is opened up the comments are not viewable immediately unless you select track changes or comment from the menu. Does anyone know how I can set the document up so when the document is opened the comments are visible immediately Many Thanks |

I managed to stumble across the answer whilst playing about. The document
was saved in a "Final" view. So when saved and opened it opened in final view with no comments or track changes appearing. When I saved a document in "Final Showing Markup" and saved it and reopened it it reopened in the "Final Showing Markup" view and showed the changes. I therefore copy and pasted the original users document into a new document and then saved it in "Final Showing Markup" and when re-opened the changes were there. Thought I would post this back in case others were wondering or if someone searches and has this problem in future "gooner" wrote: I have a user that when a comment is inserted into a word doc, he then saves the document.
