Default Format for labels?

I need to create some labels. Is there a feature in Word 2000 that will
start me out with a "template", so I can see the boundaries of the label
as I type? If not, what would be the best way to get content reasonably
lined up so when I print it out, I can hold it over the labels and see
how well lined up the info is?

Tools | Envelopes and Labels. Select your label, then click New Document to
get a sheet of them. They're set up as a table, so make sure you have table
gridlines displayed (Table | Show Gridlines) so you can see the label
boundaries.
