Controlling Merge Field Size?
Is there a way to format a merge field so that the field grows or shrinks
like on a report in Access? I have a name field with names of varying lengths, and if the names are too long it pushes the other fields out of place in my document. Is there a way to have the field wrap, or set it to a fixed length? I'm using Word 2003. Jim |

The only easy way to do this is to put the field in a cell in a table, but
typically that will require you to put all the surrounding text in other cells in the table as well. Peter Jamieson "Jim" wrote in message ...
