You need to enable the Proofing so that it does.
Click the Office button - round button in upper left corner Click into Word Options Click Proofing Place a Checkmark in "Check Spelling as you type" You may also want: - Mark Grammar Errors as you type - Use contextual spelling -- Dawn Crosier Microsoft MVP "Education Lasts a Lifetime" This message is posted to a newsgroup.
