center text verticaly on first page only on word document
I want to center the title page only for an essay on word. For some reason I
cant...it is aligned to the top, like the other pages...tried to change it, and cant |

A change in vertical alignment requires a section break. Although you can
insert a section break at the end of your title page, I generally don't because text that is mathematically centered vertically on a page is not visually centered (it seems too low). Better to just add enough Space Before to the title to drop it to where you want it. -- Suzanne S.
