Take a look at: How to set up letterhead or some other document where you
want one header on the first page and a different header on other pages. http://www.addbalance.com/word/headersfooters.htm This gives step-by-step instructions. It sounds like you have this set up by default. You can use the same directions to change back. If you only have one section in your document, you would have no "previous" to be the same as. http://addbalance.com/usersguide/sections.htm Hope this helps, -- Charles Kenyon Word New User FAQ & Web Directory: http://addbalance.com/word Intermediate User's Guide to Microsoft Word (supplemented version of Microsoft's Legal Users' Guide) http://addbalance.com/usersguide See also the MVP FAQ: http://www.mvps.org/word which is awesome! --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- This message is posted to a newsgroup. When I go to page 2, the header and footer do not appear - no header or footer at all! I cannot figure out why? Also, when I call up a blank document and insert a header/footer, the icon for Same As Previous is grayed out. I am lost! Any help would be most appreciated! |
