I tried to change the bullet in the list. I accidentally changed it in the
bullet and numbering template window under the format icon. I need to change
it back to: a), b), c).... how do I do it without reinstalling this program?

Try clicking the Reset button for that pane in the Bullets and Numbering
gallery.
