how do i make a drop down list of more than 25 items?
I am trying to make a date drop down field, but Word 2003 won't let me make
any more entries than 25, leaving me with 6 days in the month unattainable. I can't just go to the Insert menu, and then add a date Field, because the date the form is filled out isn't always the current date. Then once I protect the document, I am not allowed to change the date (if I use that option). Does anyone have any suggestions or workarounds? Thanks |

See http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=306258 "How to create a combo box

Thanks...I will try that. My only concern is that our network might not like
a macro workaround, so if there are any other ways to manipulate it, that would be awesome. Thanks for taking the time to answer. In that case don't use a dropdown field - use a date form field.
If you are saving this form as a template (which you should), why should your network have a problem with macros? -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org mobysurf wrote: Thanks...I will try that.
