Go to a specific line in a macro
Hello,
Macros are fairly new to me. I want to go to a specific line and then bookmark it, and then go to another specific line and bookmark THAT one etc. Is there an easy way (or a way at all) to accomplish this? I basically want to automate the bookmarking of 4 lines or so in envelopes ... to transfer them to templates of an envelope with a different format (using "IncludeText" in the other envelope). Thanks for any suggestions! |

Hi Michael
Basically, you should be able to record a macro, and then adjust what Word recorded to better suit your needs. Start with this article: Creating a macro with no programming experience using the recorder http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Macros...ngRecorder.htm Now, examine the code the macro recorder created and read this article: How to modify a recorded macro http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Macros...ordedMacro.htm This article explains the basics of how the VBA syntax works: Getting To Grips With VBA Basics In 15 Minutes http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Macros...csIn15Mins.htm Once you've done that, if you need more help, post a question in one of the Word VBA newsgroups, such as microsoft.public.word.vba.beginners. Hope this helps. Shauna Kelly. Microsoft MVP. http://www.shaunakelly.com/word "Michael" wrote in message ... Hello, Macros are fairly new to me.
