Default Why does my background disappear when I try make it my stationary

When I create a background design in Word I send it to myself as a Mail
Recipient to make a creative Stationary, but when I pull my email up to
myself to Save Stationary it is just one color and not what I originally
created?

Try saving the doc as a webpage. My guess is you will see the colour just
fine. I believe the background colour is not meant for Word docs. If you
want a colour background try adding a large rectangle and bring it to theback
(see drawing order). Lots of toner is used so maybe try using coloured
paper.

Torajudo,
Thanks for your help! I tried to do what you suggested, but maybe I worded
my issue incorrectly. I don't need to print the document out with the
background. On previous occasions I created a background in Word and sent to
myself for Stationary in my emails and everything worked fine, but for some
reason now when I try to do it the base color of the background I created is
the only thing that comes over when I email it to myself from Word. If I hit
reply on that email the background comes up, but since I cant "Save
Stationary" after I had hit reply I am stuff with a one color Stationary
instead of what I created. I am not hip on all the computer jargon so I hope
I explained it.

I think you are explaining it correctly, I just read your question too
fast....sorry. I know what you mean basically but not sure of a cure at the
moment. I am sure someone else will respond but in the meantime, try
checking your Options under the Tool menu. Maybe you can see a setting that
will solve this

Torajudo, Good news! I figured it out and part of my solution was trying to
save it as a Web Page at first so you were a big help. There were a few more
steps after that, but it was your suggestion that got me started. Thanks
alot!
