Default workin with fonts

Is their a way to group fonts together under the font list of word?
Like Quarkxpress does. You go to helvetica and next to it is a arrow
that then shows all the helvectica sub fonts you can select.

Not in Word, but if you go to Start, Control Panel and select the Font
applet, under View menu you can select to View in order of Similarity. This
groups similar fonts.
