Numbering in word table
I have a table in the word. First column has sequential numbering for each
row of tasks. When I insert a new row in the middle how do I format that column to adjust the sequece. So that I do not have to adjust the sequece manually. |

Use an autonumbered style to create the number, otherwise cut and paste.

Numbering in word table
The easiest way to do this is to have a first column which is empty. Select that column and set on numbering using the icon on the tool bar. The first column will now always contain the row number no matter how many rows you add/insert/delete.
