Default Insert scanned image in Word 2007

Hi Peter

The scanned image is probably stored in a tiff, jpeg or other bitmap format.
So, use:
Insert|Picture
to insert it.

Cheers

Really good question. The option (insert picture from scanner) was there
and easy to find in the beta version before this one. Now I cannot find
it at all.

Peter,

That is a good question. I searched through all the ribbons and help desk.
The only answer that I could find was that an OCR was needed in order to
insert images into Word.

Thanks

Somehow this feature seems to be missing. We don't know at this point
whether it is a bug or not.

The feature has been removed for good from Office 2007.
