Default Word 2007 WordArt/ClipArt Printing Problems

I was ready to deploy Office 2007 in our school, but have come accross a
problem when printing WordArt and Clip Art in Word 2007.

It doesn't matter if the children had created a document in word 2003 or if
I create a document in Word 2007; both ways having WordArt at the top, and
some Clip Art at the side of the main body of text; the WordArt doesn't print
and not all Clip Art gets printed.

I have tested this with 2 different colour printers.

Can anybody shed some light on why this might be happening?

Do you have some specific repro steps that allow us to create a document
identical to one of yours that won't print correctly?

Hi Patrick,

Thanks for the resonse. These are the steps taken.

1. Start a new document.
2. Add a title in WordArt.
3. Add the main body of text in the default font.
4. Add 5-7 Clip Art to the right and underneath the main body of text.
5. Set Clip Art Text Wrapping to In Front of Text.

Default Word 2007 WordArt/ClipArt Printing Problems

Hi Andy,

The steps you listed are a bit general (can be done in a couple of ways) and I didn't run into the problem with Word 2007 gold
(final) when printing to several laser and inkjet printers, PDF and MS Office Document Image Writer.

What version of Windows and what are the printer models and driver versions you're using?

If you start Word in Office safe mode (hold ctrl key while starting Word) do you get the same result repeating the steps you used
previously?

Is this on a test computer where you have run Setup.exe or a computer you deployed Office 2007 on? If the latter, how did you
deploy Office to the computer?

Was there any pre-release(beta) version of the Office apps on this computer?
