Default How do I display the correct date format when merging from Access?

I use mail merge to create forms but I can't get the date to display
correctly. Its shows "29/12/05 00:00:00" instead of "29 Dec 05"...any ideas??

You need a date formatting switch on the field

\@ "d MMM yy"
