Office 2007 Word
I just got a new machine with 07 office.
When I send word documents to others they cannot read because they have 2003 office. Is there something I can change to let them open? |

Office 2007 Word
Save as "Word 97-2003" format.

Office 2007 Word
Better still is for them to download the free compatibility pack for legacy
office. Not only will this let them read the new version but will install the new 'C' fonts that come with Office 2007 ensuring full compatibility. -- Terry Farrell - MSWord MVP "Kevin B" Kevin wrote in message ... Office 2007 Word
I know that and you know that but sometimes the people we share files with
aren't terribly computer-savvy. I think it's better to save a file in the older format if you know that a recipient doesn't have 2007. -- JoAnn Paules MVP Microsoft [Publisher] Tech Editor for "Microsoft Publisher 2007 For Dummies" "Terry Farrell" wrote in message ... Yes. In Word 2007 when you save the file. Click on file type and go through
the options save it under the file type of Word 2003 document Best regards, Kaja "Kevin B" wrote: I just got a new machine with 07 office. When I send word documents to others they cannot read because they have 2003 office. Is there something I can change to let them open? |
