Hi,
I'm using Office 2003 on Windows XP. I have inserted two images in my document, both are small enough that they appear on the same line. My question, however, is I want one image to appear left aligned and the other right aligned, but when I try to use the aligning tools, both images shift to the left or right. How can I make one be left aligned and the other right aligned? Thanks, - Dave |

Use the ruler or Tabs dialog to set a right-aligned tab stop at the right
margin of your paragraph. Then insert the first image, press Tab, and insert the second. -- Suzanne S. There doesn't seem to be a button along the top with such a name, so I assume you mean one of the menu/submenu items? Thanks, - Dave |

The tabs dialog is accessed via Format | Tabs. The ruler is displayed using
View | Ruler. For more on the use of these features, see these articles: http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/SettingTabs.htm http://word.mvps.org/faqs/formatting/UsingRulers.htm -- Suzanne S.
