Not directly, no, as there's no way to trap keystrokes in Word.

Indirectly, yes. It would require a macro solution, and you'd have to consider
what you want to use a the "trigger" for the macro to execute. You could have
the user press a particular key combination, you could use the SelectionChange
event, or perhaps you could use form fields and assign it to the exit property
of the textbox form field in the table cell.

The basic code for accessing Excel information from within Word you'll find at
word.mvps.org. For further help on realizing your project, you should ask in a
word.vba newsgroup as you'll find more people there who can help you.
