How do I save word document in a generic format
Hi T,
Aside from plain text, which has no formatting - no pictures, formatting - there is no such thing as a generic format. People who don't have MS Word could download the free Word view from Microsoft, at: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en (URL all one line) Many people also have Adobe's Acrobat Reader so, if you convert your files to that format, your recipients could use that. But you'll need the conversion software. For example, any of: Adobe Acrobat Distiller, JAWS PDF Creator, MULP21PDF, GhostScript, PDF995, RoboPDF, FreePDF, Serif PagePlus, Win2PDF, Go2PDF Cheers -- macropod [MVP - Microsoft Word] "T" wrote in message ...
