printed header text is different from preview
I am getting an extra line of text printed in my header that I can't see in
the preview. I'd like to delete this text, but I am not able to find it in the header preview. This problem is happening in Word 2003 but the document may have been an earlier version of Word. When I open the file in Word 97, I have other problems like not being able to delete text in the header preview. |

Sounds like you may have a textbox of some sort there. Have you tried using
the drawing toolbar selector tool (looks like your mouse pointer) and draw a box around the entire contents of the header to see if you can select anything? Also, perhaps it's not in your document, but a watermark set through your printer? File--Print, and hit the Properties button on your printer. **************************** Hope it helps!
