red words
I am trying to type in a new document and about half way through my letters
changed to red and underlined. Now everytime I type anything it's red and underlined.....ANNOYING!! I have tried to undo, delete, change the font color, etc....nothing gets me to plain text again!!!! HELP........................ |

You have track changes turned on. Which version of Word are you using?

Turn off Track Changes by pressing Ctrl-Alt-E (that's probably how it
got turned on). Go to the Reviewing Toolbar or the Review tab on the Ribbon and locate the "Accept Change" icon. Next to it is a tiny arrow -- click on that, and choose "Accept All Changes."
