Default Microsoft word should have tabs for multiple documents

Microsoft word should have tabs for multiple documents, rather than having
them as separate windows in the taskbar, or inconvenient windows within a
single window.

yes they do have an option for SDI, however the only way to switch from
document to document is through the windows menu. tabs, or enabling a
ctrl+tab feature would make SDI a useful interface.

The Windows menu is not the only way -- you can cycle through open windows
with Ctrl+F6 (and cycle in the reverse order with Ctrl+Shift+F6). And if you
don't like those key assignments, you can change it in Tools Customize
Keyboard (assign different keys to the NextWindow and PrevWindow commands in
the Window and Help category).
