Lost word documents-HELP can I recover them??
It seems that an entire folder of word documents I saved on my desktop is
gone. I have tried to do a system restore and the folder comes back but the word documents are still gone... When I open word they are in there under recently opend documents but when I click on one-it tells me the file is missing or corupt. Does word save a copy anywhere or are my files just gone forever??? Thanks for any help on this I am frantic-they were documents for school and I need them... |

If you delete a folder and it is no longer in the recycle bin, then it is
gone. I have exactly the same problem and it is not a "delete" problem. I keep
trying to save the document and then go to open it and it is not on the list. But it shows up on my recently used documents and I can access it there. However, if I use more recent documents it will be lost. My secretary had the same thing happen. Where are these documents??? I hope someone can help us!
