Is the font layout different in Word 2007
A document written in Word 2000 looks different in Word 2007. At least for
courier font, it appears that the characters are closer together and there are more lines per page (in Word 2007). We have a lot of documents that the layout assumes a certain number of lines per page and Word 2007 is causing the documents to look incorrect. Is there a way to make it look "exactly" the same as in Word 2000? |

Is the font layout different in Word 2007
Hi Jim,
Word relies on the printer driver to tell it how a document using a given font can be laid out. Consequently, even if you're using the same printer, changing the OS and installing the new printer driver can cause the page to be laid out differently. Even with the same OS, using the same printer with a different driver version, or using a different printer, can have the same effect. Another factor that can affect the character spacing is the choice of compatability options. -- Cheers macropod [MVP - Microsoft Word] "Jim" wrote in message ...
