I am using A'rron to begin a sentence. Work wants to change it
I am using Word 2000. I am starting sentences with "A'rron", when spell
checking Word wants to chang it to "An". I can not find a setting to stop this. Is there a setting to stop this, and if so what is it? Thanks |

Is there a setting to stop this, and if so what is it? Have you checked "Tools Autocorrect options Autocorrect" to see if there's an entry for this change there? You should also check the Autotext tab for it as well while you're at it. You might want to consider turning off automatic proofing: "Tools Options Spelling and Grammar" and remove the check mark in the box before "Check spelling as you type". I find that leaving this on just slows me down anyhow when I'm typing. -- Bob http://www.kanyak.com |
