Default Some of my footnotes are wraping to next page. Dr. says NOT TO?

My thesis requirements state that long footnotes must still be on the same
page. Some of mine are, some are wrapping to the next one. How do I stop
Word from"helping" me by wrapping them to the next page at its will...

See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting...OnDiffPage.htm (but note
that the requirements probably only stipulate that the footnote *begin* on
the same page; you'll end up with a lot of short pages if you insist on
keeping the entire footnote on the same page).
