Select it and then delete it or place the selection immediately after it and
press the Backspace key.

But what you may have is a whole lot of empty paragraphs. Click on the
Show/Hide button ¶ and you will probably see a whole lot of

after the end of your text. Select and delete all of them.

Well, without an URL for the demo I can't answer about that except to say
that (a) there's usually an icon somewhere on the page that you can click on
to toggle the sound and (b) usually the narration just repeats what you're
