Default Can you put a formula to multiply in word ?

I need help in trying to create a formula to mulitply 30 time 35 (example)
I NEED STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS TO ACCOMPLISH THIS.
Please Help

Or you can use a formula (=) field:

{ = 30 * 35 }

You can easily insert a formula using Table | Formula.
