create forms that users complete in Word
I don't see how to get the forms/template function to work. I create drop
downs and add the variables, but there is no arrow upon closing. I can't move from field to field with the tab key..... I don't get how to make this work even though I have the detailed instructions in front of me. |

You need to protect the document for forms. This is under the Tools menu (or
the lock on the Forms toolbar). What you are talking about is what Word calls an "online form." Check this in help. Thanks! I can't believe it doesn't say this in the instructions! For
example: "To change back and forth from creating the form to using it, click the lock icon on or off." "Charles Kenyon" wrote: You need to protect the document for forms.
